Mixed MediaTHURSDAYS

Kids (Ages 5 – 8)
Introducing the perfect class to learn drawing, painting, watercolor, pastels and mixed media art skills. This class is structured for every level artists. The teaching artist will present tools and techniques to experiment with a range of media. Instruction is tailored to simplify or elevate so each child feels accomplished yet challenged.

Viva La DivaGirls’ Night Out gets a Glow-Up. 💋
Visit #DowntownHaddonfield on Thursday, May 8 for a night of DJ tunes, live music, and late-night shopping hours (open til 8 PM). Haddonfield boutiques will have in-store events and specials. Plus, be sure to participate in the premier Flower Crown Challenge. 🛍️

Darla Himeles (they/she) is a Philadelphia-based poet and an assistant teaching professor at Widener University. They are the author of the chapbook Flesh Enough and the full-length poetry collection Cleave, both published by Get Fresh Books. Darla's poems and essays have been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net and can be read in recent and forthcoming issues of Beloit Poetry Journal, The Gay & Lesbian Review, The Massachusetts Review, The Night Heron Barks, and American Poetry Review. They hold an AB in English from Bryn Mawr College, an MFA in poetry and poetry in translation from Drew University, and a PhD in American literature from Temple University. Lauren Hilger received a BA from New York University and an MFA from Sarah Lawrence College. She is the author of Lady Be Good (CCM, 2016) and Morality Play (Poetry NW Editions, 2022), which was selected for the Possession Sound Poetry Series. Named a Nadya Aisenberg Fellow in poetry from MacDowell, she has also received fellowships from the Hambidge Center and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. Her work has appeared in BOMB, Harvard Review, Kenyon Review, The Threepenny Review, Poetry Foundation's online archive, NEA's Poetry Out Loud, and elsewhere. Art activities will focus on the warmer weather, flowers blooming, animals hatching and hopping, bugs crawling and more! Make torn paper art, mold with air dry clay, paint with non-traditional painting tools, and explore creative play through hands-on learning fun!
