Fall is feeling electric in South Jersey — there’s a wave of construction, innovation, and new destinations coming our way. If you love seeing new growth in our towns, this one’s for you. Check out these major projects on the horizon and some you might already see starting to pop up.
What’s Happening in South Jersey
🏗️ Trophy Park — A Destination in the Making
In Galloway, there’s a stay-and-play multi-sport entertainment complex called Trophy Park. It’s going to have 32 buildings, an e-sports arena, hotels, dining, and all sorts of amenities to attract 2 million+ visitors per year.
This could turn the region into more of a sports & events hub.
⛳ Trout National – The Reserve (Cumberland County)
A golf course development created in collaboration with pro athletes, set to open in 2025. It’ll include a clubhouse, private lodges, training center — a mix of recreation and high-end living.
📚 Rowan University Expansions & Campus Projects
Rowan is rolling out more than $290 million in expansion across multiple campuses — new wellness facilities, veterinary medicine school, and more. This raises our region’s academic and residential appeal.
🌬️ Wind Port & Clean Energy Infrastructure
The NJ Wind Port in Salem County is advancing — part of a push to support the offshore wind energy industry. With manufacturing and assembly expected there, it’s also a big win for regional jobs and green investment.
📦 Port of Paulsboro — More Than Just a Port
Paulsboro is evolving. The Port’s redevelopment as a deep-water, multipurpose marine terminal includes infrastructure for offshore wind components, cargo, and intermodal activity.
Why This All Matters (To Us)
Job growth & opportunity — these projects will bring construction jobs now, and sustained roles later.
Community value & pride — new destinations make life more vibrant, from hotel stays to sports events.
Real estate upside — properties near these developments often benefit from value appreciation.
Attracting attention & investment — South Jersey is no longer “out of the way” — we’re becoming a place people want to build, live, and visit.
So tell me — which one of these are you most excited about seeing in person? 🎯
Let’s watch as these projects come to life.
